Does anyone have issues with balding on Thrianta's inner back legs? I find this when my bucks are aging out of showing. We have a herd of 11 at this time. We also raise and show AFL's in central NY.

I haven't personally heard of it but then again the breed isn't very popular here. The oldest Thrianta I have is 3 and she looks fine.

I haven't heard of it either, but my oldest in only about 2 I believe. So maybe somebody else might know.

Yes, I took on an adult stud buck who had this condition. He wasn't very old, only about two years. He was a little overweight and perhaps he'd also been inactive for a while. He improved with more exercise and less dry food, with the addition of greenstuff, roots and hay. I also ensure his bedding remains dry as possible as I believe the condition can get pretty nasty (sometimes known as "hutch burn".) Good ventilation helps too. He's fine now btw hth D.
