actually, the judge was one of the other breeder here, and he took the time to explain why bunnies I though were rather good, weren't

:/ I'm sorry I couldn't be there. The finances are recovering from the move and ended up costing more than I expected, but the good news was that I didn't have to get rid of any rabbits.
It would have been fun to compare notes. My buck throws awesome color, but we definitely need to keep striving for better type. Good color is not the end all be all in this breed.
Build the barn before you paint it! If your type is good, you're half way there.
Now I'm waffling over whether or not it's too cold to breed. Mostly worried about the dam not getting enough water since I can't keep the crock liquid at all times!

know anybody else with tarantulas in AK
or holding breeding stock
Though I do like the fact that the color gets funky if mixed with other breeds, at least that will hold the pet owners who tossed two bunnies togather (careless breeding having nothing to do with improving the breed) in a bathtub out of showing.
Anywho, compare that with a full table of rex or satins

I do still have 7 for sale, but I haven't sorted them yet, either. All my rabbits lost condition in the move, Penny worse of all, so I haven't bred or sold any yet.

How is her color, I was gigged bad for bone and color density, Randy said I would have done better if the color carried down further, I don't know if they just lost intensity (top is still very intense) due to undercoat, if If this line just isn't there.
