These gorgeous little ginger things popped out of Hadley over a week ago  This baby was the first to open its eyes... All 6 babies together, Red mark = Female, Black mark = Male... My fave, little chubster. Best colour out of them all, if she says a she, then she'll be staying with us... Chubster in a cup...

So cute! Really gorgeous babies.
One question: What do you use to mark them at that age? I'm thinking of letting the two does I have now stay in a colony setting, but I need to be able to ID which babies belong to which doe while they're still in the nest box, and I want to be sure I can do that!

I had to use a small blob of nail varnish, this went on the fur of their ears rather than their skin though. For furless babies you could maybe try a a non-toxic paint or something like that.
