Just wondering if you groom your buns before shows, and if so, what do you use/do? With Rory I tend to just get the knots out, and sort any messy bits of fur out with my hands. Luckily he can be covered in grass, mud and wee and in a few hours you can't even tell.

I get a slicker brush and get any pee or dirt off their coat first. It also gets out loose hair. Then I use baby wipes so that they smell fresh. lol

Pee and dirt isn't really a problem with Rory, not on his fur anyway, he does to get crusty bits of poo in his nails lol

Fred likes to get pee on his head... XD It's pretty gross. Sometimes he has some on his back too...so he needs it the most. lol

I use a slicker brush, a flea comb and my own fingers to tease out tangles. D.

Lol I never knew, is he a Thrianta or Dutch?
Yeah was going through Rory's fur yesterday and he had a few matts under, they came out easily though.
He's in great condition for show now, not moulty at all but he's got a bit of fur just infront of his ears that make him look like he is, he's had it since he came, very annoying! I've tried the shedding tools and they haven't helped.

Demi, it's funny you mention the little patch of fur on the head that won't moult out. I find most of my Thriantas have an annoying patch somewhere, and more than likely it will be on the head My Rory is also a Thrianta . I chose the name as it means redhaired. His litter bro is Rojo (it means the same.) D.
